The party announced the schedule in a statement signed by its National Organising Secretary, Emma Ibediro, in Abuja.
According to Ibediro, the timetable was drawn up in accordance with the Electoral Act 2010, as amended, as well as guidelines issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The APC said the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms would begin on July 10 and end on August 20 at the party’s national secretariat.
Completed forms were expected to be submitted no later than August 21.
Screening of governorship aspirants was scheduled for August 22, while appeals arising from the screening exercise would be considered on August 23.
The party fixed August 29 for the governorship primary elections in both states, while appeals arising from the primaries were scheduled for September 2.
The APC also announced that the expression of interest form would cost N2.5 million, while the nomination form would cost N20 million.
It said there would be no separate fee for deputy governorship aspirants.
Female aspirants and persons with disabilities were granted a 50 per cent reduction in the prescribed fees.
The primaries were expected to determine the APC candidates who would contest the November 16 governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states.
