Etinosa Idemudia Reveals the Only Thing That Can Make Her Cry

Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has revealed that betrayal is one of the few things capable of bringing her to tears.

Speaking in a telephone interview with Inside Nollywood, the actress said she also finds it difficult when people unexpectedly walk out of her life.

“The only thing that can make me cry is betrayal,” Idemudia said. “I also don’t like it when people walk out of my life when I least expect it.”

The actress also spoke about the treatment of women in the entertainment industry, arguing that female entertainers are too often judged by their appearance and sexuality rather than their talent and ability.

According to Idemudia, she would rather be recognised for her intelligence and acting skills than simply be described as sexy.

“I don’t want to be called sexy. I want to be called intelligent,” she said. “I want to be addressed as that intelligent actress and not that sexy actress.”

She added that women should be given equal opportunities to define themselves without being reduced to physical appearance.

“To me, every woman is beautiful,” Idemudia said. “Everyone deserves equal opportunities to define and redefine themselves.”
