Inter Milan Hope to Extend Victor Moses’ Loan Deal From Chelsea
Inter Milan are reportedly hoping to extend Victor Moses’ loan spell beyond the end of the 2019-20 season.
The former Nigeria international joined the Serie A club from Chelsea in January on a six-month loan deal after spending the first half of the campaign with Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Inter are also said to be interested in signing the 29-year-old permanently, although the club reportedly want Chelsea to reduce their €12 million asking price.
Moses had made seven appearances for Inter in all competitions, operating mainly on the right side of midfield.
His progress was disrupted by thigh problems, which also ruled him out of Inter’s 2-0 defeat to Juventus before the Serie A season was suspended.
The Italian league was halted because of the coronavirus pandemic, delaying the conclusion of the campaign and creating uncertainty over the expiry dates of several loan agreements.
With Serie A preparing to resume, Inter were keen to ensure Moses remained available for the remainder of the season while discussions over his longer-term future continued.
