Barcelona Vice-President Says Neymar Wants Camp Nou Return
Barcelona vice-president Jordi Cardoner has said Neymar wants to return to the club two years after leaving for Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian forward joined PSG in 2017 for a world-record transfer fee of €222 million.
Cardoner said reports suggesting Neymar was interested in a return to Barcelona appeared to be accurate.
“What is correct, at the current time, what I have read and what I have heard, which seems exact, is that Neymar wants to come back to Barcelona,” he said.
However, the Barcelona official stressed that the club had not yet made contact with Neymar over a possible transfer.
The comments added to growing speculation about the Brazilian’s future at PSG and the possibility of a return to the Camp Nou.
